Roper Reunion

 Ezra put some serious miles on Grandpa Roper's motorized wheelchair at the Roper reunion. Not only did the girls get a ride on the wheelchair they got to sleep in a tent for the first time. My apologies to any one who put their tent next to ours!

When Pigs Fly!

Ezra was privilaged with amazing opportunity to ride in the giant Pig balloon (I know fitting, right?) at the Provo freedom festival. His friend Bronson Kelly owns the pig balloon, and is an excellent air balloon pilot. I love all the colorful balloons, the pig has got to be the coolest though!

Feeling especially patriotic this year.

I am so happy I am an American, so happy to be living in America. There are many reasons that people risk their very lives to make it to this amazing place.

I am grateful for all those past and present that have given the gift of freedom to me. I'm proud to be an American!

He is such a little darling, I got a "I'm going to miss you Jessica" that came with a big 

hug/ kiss and also a couple unsolicited "I love you's."

 When I ask Ezra to watch the girls I often return to little senarios like this one.

9 going on 10 Months!

Fae

We had been holding Ila off, we didn't want her to take her first steps til Dad got back from China. (even though she did---shhhh, we could only push her down so many times.)

Nine months old = first steps
Ten months old= walking.

I'm not sure if I'm ready for this!

Fae is excellent at standing on her own but she will not move those feet. She is my easy going girl, Ila is my little fireball, she likes to scream......really loud.....a lot. They have been nip and tuck in just about everything, but there personalities are so different. Ila is constantly on the move. Fae is just happy go lucky.

Recently Fae was crawling around by the window in the front room--before we could stop her she shoved a dead bee right into her mouth. I attempted to retrieve it but it was GONE! That girl spent way too much time in China I tell ya.
